This function allows a driver to book the vehicle for a short period after a booking is completed.
This function can be turned on or off by going to Administration - Configuration - Booking Rules, then tick or untick the Enable Reacquire Vehicle toggle in the Automation section.
Once turned on, the driver will see the recently completed booking still visible on the Home page, with a Reacquire Vehicle button in the Actions column.
If the vehicle is free, a short booking will be automatically scheduled on that vehicle. The driver will be notified by the system if the vehicle is not available, or if the driver already has a booking at the same time.
Configure Reacquire Vehicle Function
The below configurations are available:
Reacquire Vehicle Buffer (minutes after booking drop-off time) - This setting specifies the timeframe during which the Reacquire Vehicle button will be available.
Reacquire Vehicle Booking Length (mins) - This setting specifies the duration of the new booking.
