The report is designed to help fleet managers determine the optimal number of vehicles needed in a pool by identifying peak usage periods. It does this by
- Breaking the day into 15-minute time slots and counting how many vehicles are booked and used in each slot.
- Reporting the maximum number of vehicles used concurrently during the busiest time of day.
- Allowing users to interpret whether a group could operate with fewer vehicles without affecting service delivery. For example, if only 9 out of 10 vehicles were booked and used at the busiest day for the reported month, then 9 vehicles may suffice.
